Imagine the same routine without the British accent. The humor is so understated, as to be nearly absent, I think. I guess those were different times...

Slightly Annoying at times, but really good
I just checked and the picture/sound seem good for British TV of 1959. Once you've heard each time Tony says "He's a doctor!" in this episode, you'll never wanna hear that expression again, in a good way. The episode is reasonably funny, but the ending a bit off. Still, good. I like it.
